I would like to remind you all talented imaginative people of Spellhold Studios that there is still four days left to participate in our Art Contest and Fiction contest! The deadline is in the midnight of January 31st London time, meaning GMT+0! Use the World Clock to see when that is in your own time zone.

There are now 4 entries in the Fiction contest and 5 in the Art contest. I’m hoping to see at least a couple more before the voting starts. So far I can say, however, that there will be three winners in both contests.

IEP Extended Banters adds over 40 new banters between Bioware NPCs in the Shadows of Amn portion of the game, extends most of the NPC conflicts to allow the PC to interfere, and includes a customizeable banter accelerator.

Version 1.3 corrects a bug in the Minsc/Aerie banters and ensures the “healing” banters work correctly.

Hey all! I’m filling in for the lovely and talented Ilmatar, who is busy today.

Onto today’s topic! Whether it be the classic enmity between Edwin and Dynaheir or the racial prejudice between elves and orcs, illustrate the hatred our favourite characters bear!

Customizing

Walkthrough
After a seemingly endless amount of time, GameBanshee has fully finished their NWN2 section, including info on the Mask of the Betrayer expansion. All that seems to be missing are the spoilers under Okku.

Infinity Xplorer 2008 (codename LittleIX) is a new tool to the IE Modding Community, written in C# using the .net framework.

Based on Infinity Explorer, by Dmitry Jemerov, Infinity Xplorer aims to be very user-oriented, taking good points from several current modding tools and fusing them into one simple interface.

Some of the features currently planned include:

• Look & feel to extend on IExplorer’s ease of use design
• Able to view / edit IE file resources
• Able to work on multiple resources file documents concurrently
• Able to click & link to relevant resources - (powerful feature in the old IE)
• Improve dialog fluency - Ascension64
• Display scrolling X and Y coordinates for area maps - SConrad
• Able to personalise bookmarks for important resource files

The intention is to open the floor to generate a list of possible features to improve modding life, so that it would be possible to incorporate them in the program design before going further.
