The third version of Refinements has been finished and sent for your downloading pleasure to the associated website.

The more important changes are:
- Armor Revision component added.
- Mac Version.
- SFX-RAR for your easiness of use.

There are also a lot of bugfixes, a faster install, a new spiffy HTML readme (you can view it here), so the only logical thing you can do now is downloading and installing!

Hi everyone,

It has been a bit quiet as of late, so I thought I should write a brief note about what’s going on around here.

First of all, I would like to welcome Seifer and Shed as Administrators for Spellhold Studios. They have both been asked to climb another step on the ladder in order to help me and hlidskialf with taking care of miscellaneous tasks and duties necessary when maintaining a community like this. Both me and hlid very confident that they will do an excellent job.

Another ‘promotion’ has been given to Sir Kalthorine, who now fills one of the Global Moderator spots.

Otherwise, things are progressing rather slowly. A new site design is being worked on to replace the current temporary layout. New skins for the forum is also in the works, as several people have requested. Both of these things take time, though, and I won’t make any promises as to e.t.a’s and such.

Sir BillyBob has released an ongoing work in progress he’s dubbed Classic Adventures. It’s old AD&D modules imported into the TOB engine. This TC setup leaves the Bhaalspawn saga behind and starts the fun again at first level. Check out the forum for more info: Classic Adventures.

The famous “Cameras Please” unfortunately vanished with GenRev a while back, but fear not, because we have a new and better solution!

Some people have already noticed the SHS Photo Gallery at the main page, an integrated photo album inside the site’s cms.

This means that we now have a real “album”, instead of just posting pictures of ourselves in a forum thread. Some of the charm of “Cameras Please” was that people used to comment on the different photos, but the downside of this was that it became very hard to find pictures of individual people. Since the new photo gallery also has a commenting-feature, the ability to comment on the picture still exists, but it’s not as hard to find a certain person in the categorised album.

So, how to get your picture in there? Well, there is several possibilities. One of them is to mail the photo to me at sconrad[at]spellholdstudios.net and another alternative is to PM me a link to the picture, and I’ll upload them as soon as possible.

The old “Cameras Please” thread still exists somewhere deep in the dungeon, but we haven’t transferred any old photos from there to the new album. If you would want me to place the picture of you from that thread in the gallery, send me a PM (or reply in this thread).
