As for November 1st, 2007, Spellhold Studios has opened up the possibility to donate money through PayPal to keep SHS alive and running. Donations are completely voluntary, and with no benefits other than helping keep SHS alive.

One of our dedicated Oblivion Staff members, Hector the Hooded, has decided to step down from his Staff position. He has had health issues for a while now, and it is with heavy hearts that we bid him farewell from the Staff body.

He has said, however, that he may return in future in a Staff capacity, and that he is definitely not leaving forever. ;) And he’s still going to be around!

Hector, I wish you the very best in your future endeavors, and hope things start to get better soon.

Hey all!

Firstly, I’d like to give a round of applause to Ilmatar, who has just been become a Coordinator - she’ll be dazzling us all with her sparkling wit and beautiful art in another capacity. But fear not! She is remaining Moderator of Layers of Reality - case in point, go check out the latest Challenge - the Statue of Branwen, from which I expect some very grey, stone-cold entries!

I would also like to apologise for the months long delay concerning the SHS Website, but don’t lose all hope yet. ;)

I would also like to give a shout to Unmei and Jolyth, who have begun to fill out our Wiki with some information on Baldur’s Gate I & II - kudos, and I hope to see more such activity in future!

There will be a few more announcements in the future, I’m sure, so keep your eyes and ears open!

I’d like to welcome Karandras onto the Spellhold Studios Staff - he’s been a great help so far, and I’m sure he will be in future! :)

Version 0.42 has now been released, and is possibly one of Classic Adventures’ biggest updates, now including the infamous B3 module “Palace of the Silver Princess”! You can find out more information about the module itself on Wikipedia.

The CA team would like to thank Sanjana Baijnath (http://www.sanjanasart.com/) for all her help creating many new area maps with leahnkain.

Additions in version 0.42:

• PnP module B3 - The Palace of the Silver Princess (A completely new adventure for 1st level characters!)
• Newly drawn maps of Oakhurst and Saltmarsh
• 4 New NPCs - Aleigha, Catharandamus, Candella and Chaarna, each with their own stories and lives!

• Rivian’s dialogs and banters
• Added mirror into map of Mistmoor manor’s bedroom areas (should make getting into the Vault easier)
• Additions to Worldmap, Oakhurst is now the starting point on the map (main reason for starting a new game)
• New kits for Vildamyr and Blush
• Many minor bug fixes as requested on the forum
