Sarevok Romance Released!
Sunday, July 19, 2009

"Sarevok Anchev has been many things. Once a murderer, deceiver and despised enemy, he has become an unlikely ally to a PC facing an uncertain future. Though many facts about both his past and his former plans are common knowledge, little can be determined about his current motivations now that life has been returned to him. Has death shaken his perceptions, or merely hardened his resolve to ruthlessly seize whatever power he can take for himself? Is it possible for mortal foes to becoming something more than reluctant allies?”

A warm welcome from SHS to Aeryn and the Sarevok Romance!

Rogue Rebalancing v4.2 Released
Saturday, July 18, 2009

Introduction

The Rogue Rebalancing mod is a gameplay modification for Baldur’s Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal which strives to bring Bards and Thieves closer to their Pen and Paper AD&D counterparts. aTweaks represents a compilation of PnP related tweaks and various house rules which are designed to bring more consistency to the gameplay. Both mods works on normal Baldur’s Gate II games as well as either of the two Baldur’s Gate conversion projects: (Easy)Tutu and Baldur’s Gate Trilogy (BGT). They are divided into multiple components which can be installed separately and are completely independent of each other.

New in v4.2

This release expands the Revised Thievery component by allowing characters to talk their way out of failed pickpocket attempts and preventing NPCs from automatically turning hostile in such situations (special thanks to Taimon and Miloch). Furthermore, this release also offers improved compatibility with the Classic Adventures total conversion mod. A more detailed list of changes can be found here.

I’ve been short-changed for my time so this one’ll have to be quick.

Stop partying in Baldur’s Gate city already!
With Yovaneth’s Replacement lightmaps for Baldur’s Gate city modification, you can throw away those outdoor “blue-and-yellow” Orc disco lights, and take off those dark balaclavas indoors, and show your true hue and shine. There’s no place like now to start being a model. Check it out here.

Get your very own characteristic door knock
With sotona’s Altered Knock version 1.1, you can be so mystical as to disarm traps at the same time as you unlock doors. Now isn’t that killing two birds with one stone? Knock something now.

Some mini-updates for mini-excitement
Mordan’s Christmas Minimod, MunchMod, and Deeper Shadows of Amn have all been updated. Sounds convivial, so get your party hats out. Have a look at the changes and get the modifications here.

Tha’s’all ye folk.
