Day 3 of 12: Wizard Slayer Rebalancing Released
Wednesday, December 28, 2011

This mod was largely inspired by several other Wizard Slayer revision mods which came before it, most notably Gray Acumen’s Kit Improvements, Konalan’s Tweaks, Ashes of Embers and Kitanya’s fixes (by SixOfSpades). This version is a bit more conservative and attempts not to stray too far from the original kit design. In summary, it tries to enhance the Wizard Slayer’s inherent strong points while adding some of the best features from the aforementioned mods. This should make the kit a bit more balanced and fun to play while staying mostly true to Bioware’s original concept. The mod works on normal Baldur’s Gate II games as well as either of the two Baldur’s Gate conversion projects: (Easy)Tutu and Baldur’s Gate Trilogy (BGT).

Day 2 of 12: W_GUI Released
Tuesday, December 27, 2011

After playing the same game for over ten years, it’s obvious that some players may be bored with the old brownish interface and the usual menu layout. This is mod for those who are tired of the current layout and who are not afraid to discover a new visual style. It’s still the same good old Baldur’s Gate 2, but in new shades of blue.

W_GUI is a game modification that aims to completely redo the graphical user interface for Baldur’s Gate 2, BGTuTu and BGT. The mod works well with the bigg’s Widescreen Mod and includes new game fonts in different sizes, for those who play in high resolutions and think that original font is too small and hard to read. W_GUI also supports tweaks to the game interface made by Ascension64 ToBEx.

The mod is in the beta phase of development but is mostly finished, and even in it’s current state replaces most of game’s interface seen during singleplayer.

Day 1 of 12: Colours of Infinity Updated
Monday, December 26, 2011

Colours of Infinity has been updated!

For all those who have never heard of CoI: the series includes a number of small mods that add a variety of mysterious, intriguing and occasionally abstract aspects to the game. Be prepared for interesting new places and take part in mystical adventures, and even engage in a little romance with Yvette, ethereal priestress of Sune.

A newly applied fix should get rid of the installation problem (in both TotDG and Innershade) which occurs if the ‘save’ directory doesn’t exist. What’s more, Innershade has a small dialogue fix, which blocked a potential gift after escaping the Underdark. Along with TotDG and Innershade, The White Queen has also been updated - and should now be compatible with the BGT-BP Worldmap - thanks to i30817 and Lollorian.

Haer’Dalis Romance Released!
Friday, December 2, 2011

Aeryn has released the SoA portion of her Haer’Dalis Romance!

“Love is passion. Passion is fleeting. And such ephemeral things are those we hold the closest and cherish the most. Each moment is precious, for it may very well be the last. ‘Tis not to be feared, my raven, for such fading beauty is the fate of all life, of all things, of all hopes. Neither fret for tomorrow, nor regret yesterday, but live for today.”

The Haer’Dalis Romance for Baldur’s Gate II allows female PCs to explore a deeper relationship with our dear sparrow. Though the tielfing bard has roamed the Planes and basked in the dark beauty of Sigil’s street for decades, his experience with the Prime is limited, and his curiosity about both this new world and his new leader is great indeed. PCs are given the freedom to choose just how close they wish to get to this mysterious Planeswalker, though Haer’Dalis may find hesitant PCs all the more alluring for their reluctance. Regardless of what exactly the PC is looking for, there is a fair chance this skilled actor can fill whatever role she desires.

The mod is open to females of any race, alignment and class, and features a large number of talks on a wide range of topics. Though he is neither foolish nor cruel, Haer’Dalis loves mischief, dramatic public displays and arguments, and the mod reflects this by often providing more content to PCs who do not always agree with the bard. Content will span both SoA and ToB, and have a variety of paths and epilogues.
